What is a Romper?

Rompers are the sleep essential designed to be worn under your baby's Swaddle or Sleep Sack, as part of our TOG-rated What to Wear sleep system. Made from a deliciously soft, stretchy organic jersey cotton, Rompers can be worn as either the base layer (closest layer to baby's skin), a mid layer with a singlet or bodysuit underneath, or as daywear too!

Body & Sleeves: 67% Bamboo Viscose / 28% Organic Cotton / 5% Elastane
Cuffs: 95% Organic Cotton / 5% Elastane

Made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton that is non-toxic and gentle on irritable skin. All ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic water based dyes. ergoPouch Layers & Pyjamas are reviewed by the Eczema Association of Australasia (EAA) as a skin-friendly product.

Slim-Fit Design

Our Rompers are designed for comfort and warmth. The slim-fit design prevents bunching underneath your child's pouch, and the breathable, natural fibers help regulate body temperature and prevent overheating.

3-way Zip

The unique 3-way zip system has been designed for performance during sleep. By locating the zips down the body's midline, our Rompers can help prevent overnight nappy leaks by holding the nappy in place, and prevent the romper from twisting. The zip system also makes for easy nappy changes and dressing.

What are Rompers?

Taking the guesswork out of dressing a little one for sleep, our TOG rated Rompers are designed to be worn underneath a swaddle, sleep sack or Sleep Suit Sack, like a onesie, for extra warmth. Alongside our suggested What to Wear guide, these short or long sleeve rompers are an essential sleepwear staple when choosing which TOGs to put together based on the room temperature. It's genius and simple.

What is the difference between Pajamas and Rompers?

Our ‘Rompers’ are simply pajama’s for newborns – 1 year, whereas our 2-piece Pajama’s are pajamas for 2–5 years. Both styles are made from organic cotton, are TOG-rated for warmth, and can be worn underneath your child’s pouch, or on their own for daywear.

2-piece Pajamas can also be worn on their own as regular pajamas in a big bed with blankets for those kids that have transitioned out of their crib.

When is my child ready to move out of Rompers into Pajamas?

Either when they outgrow their Rompers (which go up to size 2), show a desire to self dress, or start toilet training.

    good product, terrible delivery

    These rompers seem like they are good quality, however I am not happy with the delivery. When I ordered them I was told it would take 4-5 business days., which means it should have arrived on a Thursday or Friday. After they were shipped I was told they would arrive on Saturday, 1-2 days late. When Saturday came, I was informed they would come the following Monday. On Monday, I was informed that they would come on Tuesday. On Tuesday, I was told they would arrive on Wednesday, and they were finally delivered. But since they were so late, I missed giving them as birthday gift on the day of the party. I ended up paying an additional $14 to send them to the recipient. I don't think I will buy from this company again.
